Penny Deming has always been a leader in the financial services industry. What began in1992 as a career in sales, soon developed in to a District Manager role with Mutual of Omaha. In 1998, Penny established a sales team of managers and advisors at RBC Insurance, leading her to win many notable awards, including top Branch Manager in Canada for several years in a row.
Through her many years working as an agency manager, Penny witnessed a growing number of women entering the workforce, yet did not see a shift in services tailored to meet their needs. In addition, Penny’s own personal challenges of being an only parent, allowed her realize the importance of women’s financial independence.
That’s when Penny made the decision to open SHE financial group inc. She wanted women to be confident in knowing that their financial goals were addressed – whether it was with life insurance, critical illness insurance, investments, estate planning, wealth accumulation or wealth management, they could count on SHE to support them. In doing so, Penny opened the door for women to feel empowered and more in control of their financial goals.
Penny is tireless in her efforts to educate and support women in the community. Her ongoing educational workshops and online “SHE to SHE” Business Directory, has become a notable resources for women in business to connect, learn and share information with one another.
